Roots & Remedies Wellness Farm Tour

Before it was a bottle, it was a bush. Ask a Jamaican grandmother what to do about a cough and she won't reach for a cabinet. She'll reach for the yard.

Bush medicine isn't an alternative here. It's just medicine: lemongrass, ginger, leaf of life, and many more picked from the garden and crafted the same way for generations. Generations of knowledge, handed down and used daily. It's where every JACANA bottle begins; you leave with a remedy you made yourself, and a calm that stays with you.

Not a spa day. A morning on a working farm, with the people who grow the medicine. Made for travellers who want to understand the healing powers of plant medicine: for couples, spa-goers, and anyone ready to slow down for a morning and reconnect their improve their wellbeing through nature.

What to Expect

Arrival: Blue Mountain Coffee and Botanical Teas

You arrive to Blue Mountain coffee and botanical teas, brewed on the farm. Meet your guide and the team behind the cultivation. The pace here is intentional from the first minute.

The Farmacy Garden: Jamaica's Living Pharmacy

Walk the garden with the people who grow it. Your guides show you what each plant is used for, how it's prepared, and where generations of Jamaican knowledge meet what botanical science understands today. Every plant here has a job, and most of them have been doing it for centuries.

Bush Tea, Brewed by Your Own Hand

Pick your leaves, learn the ritual, and brew a bush tea of lemongrass, ginger, and leaf of life. This is the cup Jamaica has trusted for generations, and by the end you'll know how to make it in your own kitchen.

Blend a Botanical Scrub to Take Home

Mix sun-grown herbs and oils into a scrub that's entirely your own. It's the rare souvenir you'll actually use: made by your hands, from this soil, and yours to keep.

Breathe in the Bamboo Circle

Gather in the bamboo circle for a guided breathwork session, the stillest point of the morning. Then a farm-to-table Jamaican lunch, grown and cooked on the estate. This is where the morning settles and the conversation opens up.

Farm to Table Lunch

Food grown on the land you just walked, prepared and served on the farm. Seasonal, Jamaican, generous. The meal where the morning settles and the conversation opens up.

WHAT OUR GUESTS ARE SAYING

Discover why our farm tours create unforgettable wellness experiences
We really enjoyed our tour. The guides were absolutely amazing, and there’s so much to see and learn. As non-consumers, we were especially interested in the business and agriculture side—and they were great in sharing great information. The rolling session was equally fun. It’s a very scenic place and well worth taking a few hours while in Jamaica!

Hands down the best tour / experience we had in Jamaica. We went as a family of five (two 18, one 21, mum & dad). Beautiful location, we drove ourselves. The farm to table lunch was exquisite, even the boys who usually avoid salad ate everything (with second helpings of fried chicken). Highly recommend to everyone - and if your wondering... The options there to sample if you want it!
